Events Organiser job vacancy
As the trade association for the UK’s mortgage lending industry, the CML is well placed to run a programme of timely and relevant seminars and events which are open to members, associates and other interested parties. Our influence and contacts in the industry enable us to provide informed content, and attract highly influential speakers. We also run a number of high-profile annual, flagship events including the CML lunch, Mortgage Industry Conference & Exhibition, and CML dinner.
We are seeking to recruit an events organiser to manage a number of assigned events, and to provide logistical support across all our events. The job description (see link below) provides more detail of the key responsibilities of the role.
We are looking for a candidate who has commercial events experience gained in a B2B environment, preferably within a trade body or corporate membership organisation. Experience in the financial services sector would be advantageous. You may already have experience at events organiser level, or have solid events administrator experience and be looking for the next step up in your career.
Strong IT skills (including use of CRM databases) and an understanding of how social media can be used to support events will help make your CV stand out.
The salary range for this position is £25,000-£27,250 per annum pro rata. Other benefits include participation in a discretionary bonus scheme, up to 10% employer pension contribution, private medical insurance, and holiday starting at 25 days (including a day at Christmas).
