Early day motions

Early day motions (EDMs) allow MPs to put on record their opinion on a subject and canvass support for it from other MPs. There is very little prospect of these motions being debated on the floor of the House of Commons. EDMs remain current until the parliamentary session ends.

A list of relevant current EDMs will be added to this page as they are tabled. A full list can be found on the parliament website
