Background
The Key Facts logo is designed to help consumers identify which are the priority documents they must read whilst:
- arranging a mortgage;
- buying insurance; and
- receiving financial advice.
The Key Facts logo is a registered trademark of the FSA. With effect from 6 November 2007, wherever the FSA's rules require specified documents (for example, the Initial Disclosure Document and Key Facts Illustration) to show the keyfacts logo, it must be shown with the ® symbol.
