Unfair Commercial Practices - EU directive

16 March 2011 | The Unfair Commercial Practices Directive was adopted by the European Union on 11 May 2005. It was due to be transposed into UK law by 12 June 2007 and implemented 12 months later. This update draws attention to the Consumer Protection Regulations 2008 (SI 2008 No 1277), which came into effect on 26 May 2008.
