Association of British Insurers
The Association of British Insurers (ABI) is the trade association for the UK's insurance industry, representing around 400 companies. Website contains information, research and statistics on the British insurance industry, access to ABI's publications, press releases and responses to government consultations.
Association of German Pfandbrief Banks
(Verband deutscher Pfandbriefbanken) The Association of German Pfandbrief Banks (vdp) was formally known as The Association of German Mortgage Banks (VDH). Its member institutions are among Germany's most important providers of capital for residential and commercial property. Its website is in English & German and provides access to a range of statistics and publications on the German and European mortgage market.
Association of Independent Financial Advisers
The Association of Independent Financial Advisers (AIFA) is the trade association representing IFAs, current membership now represents 70% of the IFA market. Website contains information and research on the financial intermediary market, careers and qualifications information for intermediaries and access to AIFA's publications and press releases.
Association of Mortgage Intermediaries
The Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) is the trade association for mortgage intermediaries in the UK. Website provides careers and events information for mortgage intermediaries and access to AMI's publications.
Association of Residential Letting Agents
The Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) represents residential letting agents in the UK. Website provides information on the residential property market and buy to let investment properties.
Bank of England
The Bank of England is the central bank of the United Kingdom. Website contains a range of Bank and Building Society statistics, Economic statistics, Bank of England Working Papers, Bank of England Inflation Reports, Monetary Policy Committee Meeting Minutes and other monetary policy and economic resources.
Barker Review
The Barker Review was set up on 9 April 2003 to review the issues underlying the lack of supply and responsiveness in housing in the UK. The review was to consider the role of competition, capacity, technology and finance of the housebuilding industry and the interaction of these factors with the planning system.

Information on private rented housing in Scotland for landlords and tenants.
British Bankers Association
The British Bankers Association (BBA) represents the UK's Banking sector, its members hold 90% of the UK banking sector's assets and provide 95% of banking employment. Website contains information and statistics on banking and financial services and regulation in the UK, access to BBA's publications, press releases and policy responses.
Building Research Establishment
The Building Research Establishment (BRE) is involved in research and consultancy for the construction industry. Topics of interest to BRE include the environmental impact of new housing, pressure on water and energy supplies, pressure on local infrastructure where large numbers of new homes are to be built and the development of certification schemes for modern methods of construction.
