Habitat for Humanity – the charity supported by the CML for some years now – is looking for teams to take part in a fund-raising (and fun) challenge next summer.

Teams of three to six people are being invited to enter the Hope Challenge 2010, which will be held in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside over the weekend of 11-13 June 2010.

Those taking part will face physical and mental challenges, with puzzles to solve, hills to climb and strategic decisions to make. The main part of the challenge is to build and sleep in your very own team shelter.

Teams taking part before have commended the challenge. “The most professional fund-raising event we’ve ever been to – we had a fantastic time,” said one. “The event was great for team morale and we built and secured relationships within our company, too,” said another.

Habitat for Humanity, which works to tackle housing poverty worldwide and has built 300,000 homes in 90 countries since it was formed in 1976, is looking to make the challenge even bigger and better next year.

Habitat for Humanity’s Hope Challenge 2010 is supported by founding sponsor NHBC.
