With the forthcoming general election probably just six weeks away, today we are publishing a new 'mortgage market manifesto'. It calls for action on mortgage funding, the number of housing transactions, regulation, taxation and low-cost home-ownership, and better targeted help for home-owners with mortgage payment problems.
