Jackie Bennett awarded an OBE
The CML is delighted to record that Jackie Bennett, its head of policy, has been awarded an OBE in the Queen’s birthday honours list. She received her award for services to the financial services industry.
There were a number of other awards to influential figures associated with the industry.
Peter Griffiths, chief executive of the Principality Building Society, was also awarded an OBE for services to the financial services industry. And there were awards to:
- Sarah Webb, chief executive of the Chartered Institute of Housing, who received a CBE for services to the housing sector;
- Joanna Elson, chief executive of the Money Advice Trust, awarded an OBE for services to people in debt; and
- Ruth Stanier, deputy director, preventing repossessions and homelessness, Department for Communities and Local Government, who was awarded an OBE.
The CML offers its congratulations to all of them.
