2nd annual affordable housing conference

Background:


Following a very successful 1st annual affordable housing funding conference back in May 2009, we have added this conference to our Spring 2010 events programme. The timing of this conference will allow us to take stock of the impact of recent signs of recovery on the supply of affordable housing, the viability of housing associations and the availability of credit for both commercial and mortgage funding. With an inevitable reduction in public subsidy for housing and a potential shift to using public investment as equity rather than as a grant, the challenges ahead for all are very clear.

This event will be the sectors first opportunity following the general election to debate the issues for affordable housing funding. Join us to hear our expert speakers put forward the challenges faced in the coming year and beyond as well as the opportunities that need to be taken.
