The CML has recently welcomed three new associates, bringing the total to 97. The most recent recruits are:

  • Searchflow, a market-leading provider of conveyancing search solutions. The firm provides searches, surveys, identity checks and conveyancing insurance, and has more than 25 years’ experience. It runs more than a million searches annually for more than 2,500 legal clients across England and Wales.
  • Belmont Green, which is run by a team of experienced mortgage professionals aiming to create a new challenger brand lender with products distributed exclusively by intermediaries. It intends to build a successful, sustainable and responsible lending business, serving customers with well-researched and well-designed products and services. Belmont Green is exploring market opportunities and looking to build a proposition that challenges the status quo.
  • China Construction Bank, a London-based wholly owned subsidiary of China Construction Bank Corporation (CCBC). Established in 1954 as The People’s Construction Bank of China, it became CCBC in 1996. It is the second largest bank in China and one of the largest banks in the world. The firm has branches and subsidiaries in various countries, including Hong Kong, Frankfurt, Tokyo and New York.

As well as 97 associates, the CML has 133 members and a further seven members that are third party administrators.
