The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) has issued a call for evidence to seek a better understanding of how terms and conditions can be made more user-friendly and how consumers might be encouraged to engage more effectively with Terms and Conditions; and how Ts&Cs are used by businesses.
They are also investigating whether a wider range of enforcement tools and powers might better support fair competition.
